Scratchcard Winners: Hi Rudi, thanks for sending your winner to us! Let us start by asking where and when do you buy the scratchcard?
Rudi Feix: I bought the winner on Tuesday morning after dropping my daughter off at school - it was from my local convenience store
SW: How often do you play, and how much on spend on average?
RF: It varies really. I can buy the odd few everyday, and could spend up to £20.
SW: What's your favourite and least favourite card on sale now?
RF: My favourite card on sale at the moment has to be anyone that gives me a profit! My least favourite card has to be the new pharoah one as it just doesn't appeal to me!
SW: What do you think about online scratchcards, and have you ever played and won?
RF: Online scratchcards are not bad, but don't appeal to me. I do have an online account with National Lottery and do play from time to time, but not really into them!
SW: Finally, and tips for our readers?
RF: You have to be in the right place at the right time, that's my motto! I tend to look at the availability of the cards, for example, how many are left on the roll.
I do tend to find that big wins can be in the middle, or towards the end of the roll. But, every pack is different and you could end up not having one big win from that pack.
On a final note, I would say this, go into a shop and if you find you have the odd spare couple of quid or more, then buy a card as you never know and you may just win more than expected. It's about the odds, but it's also about having the luck and timing to win big!
