The other day, we came across a local news story regarding a Police appeal for a thief who stole over £2000 worth of National Lottery Scratchcards from a store in Stevenage.
To help catch the thief, Scratchcard Winners are offering a £50 scratchcard reward!
Hertfordshire Police have released the above image of a man they would like to speak to in relation to the scratchcard theft.
The incident happened around 3.30pm from McColl's, Bedwell Crescent, Stevenage, in which the scratchcard holder was pulled from the counter. Over £2000 worth of scratchcards were removed, all of which have since been made void by Camelot, the owners of National Lottery.
A statement was made by PC Sarah Hill on behalf of Hertforshire Police:
"We believe the man pictured may have been in the area at the time and he could have vital information which may assist the investigation.
If you recognise him, or have other information about what happened, please call the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference 41/68088/19."
To assist the enquiry, we at Scratchcard Winners are offering £50 worth of ANY scratchcards to anybody that can provide information leading to a successful conviction for the crime.
