It's been a while since we've featured a scratchcard jackpot winner that has gone public, however, we recently found the story of 61 year Kevin Francis who just won big.
Winning a scratchcard jackpot is what we all dream of.
In April 2014, Jack Tanbini was just 18 when he won £100,000 after purchasing a £1 £100,000 Purple scratchcard.
He initially purchased the scratchcard after making a delivery to a local store in Dundee and trying to purchase some crisps. After the shopkeeper refused payment due to his help, he instead spent it on the lucky scratchcard.
But there story hasn't turned out so well 5 years later...
At the beginning on August, we shared the news that £10 scratchcards were going to be removed from sale.
And eventually, the £10 scratchcards were finally removed from sale on the 27th September.
However, there is now a petition to bring back the £10 scratchcards!
We're only at the end of August, but National Lottery have announced that the first Christmas scratchcard - 'Christmas Advent Calendar' will be released on 2nd September 2019 - see more details here!
Although this seems early to release Christmas themed games, it coincides with the release date we saw last year, with the previous version of this game released in September 2018.
This is not a clickbait page title, it's actually happening!
